M.A.-
PREVIOUS EXAMINATION-
Papers [Maximum Marks -100 each]-
1. Literature in English from 1552 AD to 1660 AD; 2. Literature in English from 1660 AD to 1798 AD; 3. Literature in English from 1798 AD to 1914 AD; 4. Literature in English from 1914 AD to 2000 AD

FINAL EXAMINATION-
Papers [Maximum- 100 each]-
5.English Language and Literature [Drama]; 6.Critical Therory; 7[a]- Special Study of a Major English Author or 7[b]- American Literature ; 8[a]- Major Critical Concepts or 8[b]- Translation and Translation Theory; 9[a]- Indian Writing in English or 9[b]-Two term papers of 25 marks each and a short dissertation of 50 marks; 10. Viva-voce

[Pattern of questions in M.A. – The paper consists of explanations, long questions, short questions, objective-type questions and questions related to literary terms.]


B.A.-
In examination of all parts of B.A., the maximum marks for each paper will be 75.
